Generative AI Policy

IJSSES supports transparency and accountability in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in scholarly work.

Disclosure rules

• Authors must clearly disclose any use of AI tools (e.g., language editing, grammar correction) in the manuscript’s Acknowledgement section.

Prohibited uses

• AI may not be used to generate data, analyses, references, or substantive content.
• AI tools cannot be listed as authors.                                                                    

Reviewer/editor AI restrictions

• Reviewers and editors may not upload manuscripts to external AI platforms under any circumstances, to protect confidentiality and intellectual property.
